Meet the team

My background is in Critical Care and Accident and Emergency. I’ve worked in large trauma centres including Addenbrookes Hospital in Cambridge and Derriford Hospital in Plymouth. I also spent three years working as the Senior Nursing Officer on board luxury cruise ships; providing care in unique and often remote settings. This enabled me to pursue my love for adventure and travel. When at home, I’m kept busy with my young daughter and we love to keep active as a family.

For the last five years I’ve been working in the community as a Practice Nurse, where I especially enjoy being able to build relationships with patients and believe in providing care with a holistic and personable approach.

Hi there! I’m Joanna

I qualified at Westminster Hospital in 1987 and have worked as a Practice Nurse for over 10 years. I have also worked as a theatre sister and an Intensive care nurse. I’m a Mum of three and a keen gardener. My special interest is in caring for the elderly, I’m a trained Dementia Champion, with first hand experience of living with both my parents with Alzheimer’s which was an experience that brought a lot of joy to me.

I believe Ear care should be offered to patients by medically trained practitioners, and I have been trained by Rotherham , known to be the Gold Standard in Ear Care

I qualified as a Registered Nurse in 2015 from the University of Southampton and have since gained experience as a Dermatology Specialist Nurse and within Vascular Services. I gained my Diploma in Ear Care at the National Specialsit Centre for ears in Rotherham. I am a compassionate and driven practitioner, committed to delivering high standards of care and patient education. I believe in the importance of safe, holistic, evidence-based ear care provided by trained healthcare professionals. Away from nursing, I love connecting with nature, muddy hikes, the creative arts, photography and sharing special moments with the people closest to me.

Hi, I’m Hannah

My nursing background is in the acute care of the elderly. I have primarily worked in the hospital setting so I have a lot of experience caring for people with dementia, stroke and Parkinson’s. I love getting to know the people in my care and helping them to feel better.

I recently completed the Rotherham National Diploma and am excited to join the team.

I am local to the Exeter area and grew up on the edge of Dartmoor. I love hiking, good food and drink, and have recently returned from a sabbatical in South America.
